Open Educational Materials of the sustainability-focused Problem-Based Learning (PBL) experience implemented in the Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology, as part of the Plant Biotechnology Course, at ULE.
The challenge presented students with realistic scenarios reflecting current sustainability-related problems in the plant biotechnology sector. Working in teams as independent researchers, students were tasked with designing innovative solutions for crop improvement and environmental applications by selecting and applying suitable molecular and biotechnological tools, while considering the environmental and social implications of their proposals.
