🎓 The ENVIHEI project visited IESO La Pola de Gordón, in León (Spain), in collaboration with the 🇪🇺 Europe Direct León Centre, to engage 45 students from the 3rd and 4th years of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) in interactive activities focused on environmental sustainability.
🇪🇺 IESO La Pola de Gordón is a Mentor School within the European Parliament Ambassador School Programme (EPAS), an initiative that promotes awareness of the European Union, its democratic values and active citizenship among young people.
🎲 To make sustainability learning engaging and interactive, ENVIHEI organised participatory activities focused on environmental sustainability, inviting students to test their knowledge, reflect on sustainability challenges and explore different ways of contributing to a more sustainable future.

💡 These activities provided an interactive and participatory space to connect with younger students, encouraging environmental awareness and reflection on European values through creative and student-centered learning experiences.

🎨 The visit also coincided with an activity organised to celebrate the European Day of Justice. Students created a commemorative mural, which was visited by representatives of Europe Direct León, bringing together creativity, European values and student participation.
🌱 With this initiative, ENVIHEI continues to bring sustainability closer to students beyond the university environment, promoting environmental awareness and participatory learning while strengthening collaboration with local educational institutions and European initiatives.
🙌 Thank you to IESO La Pola de Gordón, Europe Direct León and all the students who took part in the activities and shared this experience with us!
