Open Educational Materials of the sustainability-focused Project-Based Learning (PBL) experience implemented in the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, as part of the Physics Course, at ULE.
The challenge presented students with an inefficient electrical circuit and asked them to explore how circuit design decisions affect energy losses, component durability, and the responsible use of resources. The objective was to use Multisim simulation to identify the causes of energy dissipation and optimise circuit parameters to reduce heat and power losses, linking electromagnetic principles and efficient hardware design with SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production.
