🌱 13 Master’s students in Project Management at Silesian University of Technology (SUT) took part in an ENVIHEI pilot implementation within the Project Team Management module, carried out from 4 March to 22 April 2026.
💡 Working in four teams, students applied project-management tools and student-centered learning approaches to identify real challenges and develop practical solutions. Their work included stakeholder and risk analysis, team organisation, project planning, communication and decision-making, while also considering sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
🅿️ Campus parking: The first team addressed the shortage of parking spaces around the SUT campus in Zabrze. They developed a proposal for a new campus parking area and created a physical model and visualisation of the planned infrastructure.

🚲 Eco-mobility: The second team explored an alternative to increasing car infrastructure by proposing an integrated bicycle mobility system for students and staff. Their concept combines bicycle infrastructure with a university application and promotes more sustainable campus mobility.

📱 Student Push: The third team tackled the problem of information overload among students. They developed a functional Proof of Concept for a centralised notification system, allowing students to receive information about university activities according to their interests.

🧳 First-year student integration: The fourth team focused on the social dimension of university life and designed an integration trip for first-year students, including logistics, participant recruitment, evaluation and sustainable transport measures.

🌍 Across the four projects, students connected project management, teamwork, problem-solving and sustainability with challenges from their own university environment. The pilot demonstrates how student-centered project-based learning can turn real-life problems into opportunities for practical learning and innovation.
