The ENVIHEI consortium is proud to announce the successful completion of Level 3 – ‘Groundbreaker’ of the Professional Development Program (PDP), marked by the final session, Workshop 11: Reflection on the ENVIHEI Winter School and Action Planning for Continued Professional Development, held on March 20, 2026.
This workshop represented the final milestone of the PDP journey, providing participants with a dedicated space to reflect, consolidate, and project their learning forward after their experience in the ENVIHEI Winter School hosted at Montanuniversität Leoben.
🎯Reflecting on the Winter School Experience
Participants engaged in critical reflection on their role and experiences during the Winter School, exploring how this intensive, collaborative learning environment influenced their teaching practices, pedagogical approaches, and facilitation skills.
Through guided discussions, they identified key lessons learned and examined how these insights can support the integration of environmental sustainability and green competences into higher education.
🎯Sharing Insights and Building Community
A central element of Workshop 11 was the exchange of best practices, challenges, and successes among participants. This peer-learning environment fostered a strong sense of community and reinforced the value of collaborative, interdisciplinary approaches to sustainability education.
🎯Looking Ahead: Action Plans for Continued Growth
Participants also focused on the future by evaluating their professional development journey throughout the PDP and refining their personalized action plans. These plans outline concrete steps, goals, and strategies to continue advancing as educators committed to sustainability and transformative learning.
🎯Final Evaluation and Certification
Workshop 11 also served as the final evaluation stage of the ENVIHEI PDP. Through qualitative feedback and interactive Q&A sessions with peers and facilitators, participants demonstrated the achievement of the program’s learning outcomes.
With this, participants have successfully completed the program and are awarded the Level 3 certification: “Groundbreaker”, recognizing their capacity to act as leaders and change agents in sustainability education.
