ENVIHEI Online Seminar and Awareness Workshop Successfully Held – Over 50 Participants Joined the Discussion on Green Competencies in Higher Education
On March 7, the ENVIHEI Online Seminar and Awareness Workshop brought together more than 50 participants from across Europe, including educators, researchers, and institutional partners, to discuss the importance of integrating environmental sustainability and green competencies into higher education curricula.
The event featured:

– Insights from research conducted across five European universities on the needs of students and academic staff regarding green competencies.

– A presentation of the ENVIHEI Pedagogical Development Program, which will provide training and resources for academic staff.
The seminar and the awareness workshop were an important step in fostering collaboration between universities and encouraging the integration of sustainability principles in teaching practices. The engagement and enthusiasm of attendees highlighted the growing interest in transformative learning approaches that can prepare students to tackle global environmental challenges.
