On 27 November 2025, the ENVIHEI consortium held an online meeting with members of its Advisory Board to present recent achievements and discuss the strategic direction of the project. The Advisory Board is composed of 22 associated partners from sectors linked to environmental sustainability education, public administration, student organizations, sustainability alliances, and companies seeking future professionals with strong green competences.
📝During the meeting, partners provided an overview of the project’s objectives and introduced the learning outcomes of the Professional Development Program (PDP). This program has trained university lecturers to work with their students using a Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach to integrate sustainability-oriented teaching practices across higher education institutions and to be applied in future stages of the ENVIHEI project activities. Participants in the meeting also received an update on the preparation of the Winter School, whose online phase is currently taking place and whose in-person phase is scheduled for February 2026.
💡Advisory Board members shared valuable insights on how to strengthen the relevance, accessibility, and institutional uptake of the project’s outputs. They highlighted the importance of ‘training the trainers’, open educational resources, clearer pathways for curriculum integration, and alignment with evolving European and national sustainability policies.
Advisory Board members were encouraged to engage in upcoming ENVIHEI activities, including project workshops and the Winter School student presentations, reinforcing the collaborative framework that supports the project’s long-term impact.
