Reflecting on our journey and shaping what comes next
Today, the ENVIHEI team and participants of the Professional Development Program (PDP) gathered for a dynamic online Kick-off meeting to reconnect as a growing Community of Practice for sustainability and green competences in Higher Education.
This short but inspiring session invited participants to reflect on the progress achieved so far through the PDP workshops and to share their thoughts on an important question:
Are we becoming a true community of educators for sustainability?
Everyone agreed that the PDP has strengthened their knowledge and teaching approaches to train students in sustainability. Now, the next big step begins: putting these ideas into action through the pilot implementation of PBL-based projects in their own classrooms.
Together, we discussed ways to keep our community active, identified challenges, and shared ideas to continue exchanging experiences and supporting each other as we move forward.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants for your valuable contributions and commitment.
Stay tuned for our upcoming activities — and see you at the online phase of the ENVIHEI Winter School starting in October 10, 2025! 💡
